Sensex touched its first 1000 in June 1990. At that time people of India were not that much aggressive about the Indian stock market. It is a matter of time at that time people consider their money safe in the post office more than in the bank. 1 October 1999. Market hits 5K for the first time in the dot-com bull run that was 5151. The market in the dotcom bull run, Sensex index, ran from 2741 in October 1998 to 6151 Feb 2000. This bull run ended in March 2000 and the market went down again towards 2595 in September 2000. During this bull run, people were buying IT shares without thinking anything. Sensex hit its first 10K in Feb 2006. The market closed above 10k and sustained. And this bull run continued till January 2008. This is the time when Sensex India is a part of global market growth. Sensex 20k
The market made a historical high of 20238 on Oct 2007. And this bull run ended by making a low of 7697 in October 2008. Then this bull run ended as Lehman brothers bank corrupt and Satyam scam. During this boom and recession, some people made money in the market and many people lost too. We are not sure about majority participation, but every Indian knows about this recession. Sensex 30k
It again takes the next 7 years to reach the 30k benchmark. In march 2015 market made a new high of 3035. This bull run happens by the NDA government led by Shri Narendra Modi. It was called the Modi wave at that time. The country had elected NDA in majority by voting.

In October 2019 market again made a new high of 40392. It’s after the USA and China trade war ended. In this bull run, we saw how big economies can do each other’s harm without weapons. As the tension between both countries decreased, in the same way, the global market started to see a boom.

The first-time Sensex touches 50k on Jan 2021. It is after the Corona crisis. The coronavirus pandemic market went to 25649 in march 2020. Not only did the index recover from the crises in 1 year. But also it will make a new lifetime high of 50184 in Jan 2020. Index doubled itself in one year. There are many reasons behind it. Like reopening lockdown and shut down in all of the countries, interest rates are down by the Central Government.
Sensex 60k
Its 24 September 2021 market hit its new lifetime high record of 60000. This year in January the market touched its high of 50k. The bull run is going on. The current market scenario makes investors and traders greedy. We don’t know when this bull run will stop.
